A stallion stands upon a hill,
Watching his domain.
At a stream he drinks his fill,
Then he stands on guard again.
He sees the little foals, playing in the grass,
He sees the mother mares staying quiet, calm and cool.
He charges through the herd,
Not letting others pass.
Then he stands aloof and still,
Unchallenged in his rule.

I write poetry too! So cool that we both do
I wrote a poem similar to this one once!
Great job!
Thanks! I haven’t seen much of your poetry, but I know it would be good.
